Today the Northern Kentucky Beekeepers Association hosted the annual field day and cook out for members and people interested in getting started in beekeeping. It was a small group and we beekeepers had a good time sharing our experience and passion with potential new beekeepers. We had a live hive demonstration as well as equipment, reading materials, and even a door prize drawing for one of my bottles of mead. The day concluded with a business meeting, the pledge, and a q/a session.
