I'm heading in to the first year of beekeeping - they arrive April 13. Found this site while looking for a beekeeping podcast!
Very nice blog and podcast. I started a blog simply to organize and chart my progress (or lack thereof) over the first year.
Thanks for sharing!

Very informative. I am a first year beekeeper and purchased two established hives. I look forward to reading the entries and listening to the blogs. I found the link through Phil. Keep up the good work.

Hi Darcy...I am a brand new bee keeper in Bowling Green, KY. I picked up my bees at Walter Kelley's on 4/11, and so far, they seem to be doing great, and I am having a great time. The state apiarist recommended your blog to me, and I am really enjoying it, and benefitting from your experiences. It's kinda like being a new parent...you like to know you aren't alone! I've been surprised at the overwhelming sense of responsibility I feel for those thousands of little lives! Thank you for taking the time to document your experiences so the rest of us can share and learn with you.
